450mm Propane Gas Pigtail with Rupture Protection – POL x W20 Fitting The 450mm Propane Gas Pigtail with Hose Rupture Protection (HRP) connects a propane cylinder to a regulator using POL x W20 fittings, and is designed for LPG systems that need to keep running safely while a vehicle is in motion. Unlike a non-return (NR) pigtail, this is a straight-through (ST) hose — its safety feature is the HRP mechanism, which shuts off gas flow automatically if the hose itself is cut, crushed or otherwise damaged. This makes it particularly relevant for caravans and motorhomes running drive-safe gas systems, where HRP protection is often required to allow gas appliances to remain in use while travelling.
