The Powerline 40mm tape from Gallagher is a high-quality and safe tape for horses and ideal for shorter permanent horse fencing. Due to its high visibility and large contact surface, the risk of injuries is minimal, and the tape forms a very good visual barrier.
White tape is very visible to animals such as horses due to its wide, contrast-rich structure, which strongly react to visual stimuli. The white colour stands out against almost any background, which helps to recognise the tape quickly and prevent unwanted contact.
With a resistance of 0.17 Ω/m, the tape has good conductivity. This is due to the tinned copper wire of 0.25 mm, making the tape suitable for distances up to 500 metres. Moreover, there are 11 stainless steel wires of 0.20 mm evenly distributed across the width, ensuring that the entire contact surface of 40 mm is electrified.
The Powerline 40mm tape is also lightly reinforced with a lace wire at the top and bottom.
