These posts are treated to BS8417 at our very own treatment works, which will maximize the lifespan of the timber by up to 15 years! It also creates an effective barrier to infestation by insects and fungi.
The Postsaver sleeves are made from thermoplastic lined with a meltable thermoplastic bituminous liner. Postsaver is heat applied to the post prior to installation to create a long-lasting air and water tight seal on the ground line section of fence and gate posts making conventional ground line decay impossible
These timber fence posts have been treated to help protect the timbers from rot & decay. These fence posts have been subject to a more thorough treatment process – making this product suitable for use in contact with the ground.
